Ancient Sounds for Modern Times
As we experience the age of noise pollution first hand, it’s important to distinguish between sound that nourishes, sound that entertains and sound that harms; not only the sounds around us but also the sounds within us—the sounds of our thoughts.
And what about silence? Is there room for silence in this busy time? What is silence?
In this unique sound meditation intensive, we will travel into the frequency of our own well-being, understanding that it’s the process that matters, not the destination. The breath and the voice are our greatest healers and our own unique vibrational thumbprints. Working with that which is already within us, in a safe and efficient manner, can lead us into a realm of deep inner listening, connection, and wisdom, while also reducing anxiety, stress and fatigue.
This curriculum is a compilation of Denise’s lifetime experience in working with sound. The use of pure sound tools including the voice, singing bowls, tingshas, and mantras enhance the meditative journey. As we develop these subtle skills within ourselves, we are empowered to teach and lead others more effectively.
This curriculum was developed pre-COVID and is being revisited and reinvented.
