Drowning in a series of sudden personal losses, Allie abruptly leaves her blossoming professional opera career for the more internal study of sound meditation and the emptiness of “sunyata.” Six years later, when invited by her teacher, Babaji, to join him and several others for the pilgrimage of a lifetime, she travels from New Jersey to Nepal, envisioning a peaceful, meditative journey with like-minded students, surrounded by the serene, majestic mountains of the ancient and spiritual land, and is convinced that this will finally free her from her grief. Instead, what she encounters in her three-week odyssey—in the middle of monsoon season—threatens her perception of reality, introduces the power of magic, unleashes the tormenting shadows buried deep within her, and almost takes her life.

ABOUT THE RECORDING
This album was inspired by my recently completed novel, Journey to Sunyata, based on my life-changing pilgrimage to Nepal. I offer it to you to support relaxation, Divine connection and healing.
